Join Us in Raising Funds So We Can Give Caregivers a Much-Needed Break
What do family and friend caregivers need most? That's the question Family Caregiver Alliance has worked to address for more than 40 years.
As the go-to resource for caregivers of adults with physical and cognitive impairments, FCA occupies the unique role of serving caregivers both locally and at the regional and national levels. Now more than ever, our mission to improve the lives of family caregivers has taken on great urgency. We know that an overwhelming number of caregivers provide complex and intense care, according to a recent survey of California caregivers. In addition:
- A majority of them spend more than 40 hours a week providing care
- A significant number of them report having worsening health
- And many report feeling lonely
It's clear that one of the things most family caregivers need now is a break.
That's why this year we're asking our friends and supporters to consider making a donation that will allow FCA to give more caregivers respite grants. These grants allow family caregivers to hire caregiving help while they take a breather and re-energize themselves.
However you would like your donation spent, whether through respite grants or for general support of FCA, we hope you will join us in supporting caregivers during this special Fall Appeal.
Prefer to donate by check? Please make your check payable to Family Caregiver Alliance and mail to: Family Caregiver Alliance, 235 Montgomery St., Ste 930, San Francisco, CA 94104
Or to donate over the phone, please call us at (800) 445-8106 x326.
Your gift is tax deductible
